Hi! I’m Kelsey.

I’m a writer and editor currently based in southwest Georgia. I’ve earned a BA and MFA in Creative Writing and have published several personal essays in various literary magazines and websites. My passion for writing has been the foundation of my career which has taken some exciting and unexpected turns, especially over the last few years. 

For the last decade, I've been writing and editing B2B and B2C copy of all kinds: long-form articles, marketing copy, social captions, email newsletters, blog posts, sales scripts, and more. Writing in these different formats, for different audiences, with different goals, and using a variety of style guides, has helped me hone my craft as well as learn how to effectively transition between voices and formats to find the one that would be most effective for the project at hand.

I’m a voracious reader and in-depth researcher, always looking to expand my mind and skillset. I’m interested in projects that provide value to readers.
